This lady claims to have braked but the vehicle took off.
Which would mean she hit the accelerator but this is a modern vehicle and the download of information indicated that neither the brake or accelerator were depressed.
So either she's lying or such an incompetent driver she has no idea what happened.
Looks like she's not going to gaol but I don't think she should ever be allowed to drive
i know people that have done that

people get the pedals mixed up

LLOLL dvd.h, did you foirget what to post before?
Anyway, you're right. People do get the pedals mixed up. When an automatic car driver goes on to manual, it can happen. And when a manual driver goes auto, occasionally having no clutch can create momentary confusion.

A license for an automatic vehicle does not allow you to drive a manual.

Same in the ACT.
However, according to the (old) OP, neither the brake nor the throttle were applied, so she was coasting.
