Yeah well...
On the one hand we have Figueres - one of the most influential and highly regarded women in the world who is extremely well connected, extraordinarily well educated, a powerhouse of smarts, a global leader on the co-ordination of climate change information whos scholarly publications and research are a go-to source for other academics and a UN dynamo.
On the other hand we have Tony Abbott.

i disagree with abbotts comments in regards to -- no link to climate change and bushfires
...donna, i suppose you agreed with everything that gillard and rudd had to say?

Abbott is wrong on this, way off the mark. He is right about a lot of things though.
Absolutely disagree with a lot of things that Julia did and said, ie carbon tax (wrong name) gay marriage (her views) as an example.
Didn't listen much to rudd, don't particularly like him. I'm sure there are many things that I would agree and disagree with.
But both gillard and rudd's views on climate change I agree with and they would never say such a dumb thing about an expert.
