sometimes i just scratch my head in disbelief of what so called intelligent people do.

Was it harming itself? Harming others? Being disruptive or violent?

If the child was harming him/herself - definitely not a lock situation.

 

If the child was harming others - definitely not a lock situation.

Really Icy I would not like to be one of your children, especially one who has Autism Wow talk about child abuse

If you lock these children up it just makes it worse

So many people go off half cocked these days without bothering even to look into reason things happened .

Everyone is a photographer , taking videos of the end product , no idea or care how things start or why , make their own assumptions with incomplete details.

I have a grandson on the autism spectrum 

He is very high functioning 

Never treated him by locking him in a room when he got fustrated
