Electricty prices won't go back down again. they will just have a convenient increase that keeps it the same cost and it will rise as usual after that.

If people believe that prices will go down they are fooling themselves. Power prices rose sharply before carbon pricing came in. Greedy companies are not going to stop raising prices.

It would be replaced by carbon trading scheme, which was always the plan; Rudd was just going to bring it forward.

Why not google it?  Basically our carbon tax is Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) with a fixed price.   And the plan is to move to an ETS with a floating price.

The pics?  They just float around the net  🙂  I think they are very useful to inform the LNP voters who only understand 3 word slogans.
