To all of those in QLD facing floods again good luck. 

140mm in my back yard last night. Roads flooded already and no let up on the near horizon. 

Take care, have your emergency plans ready to enact. 

They are opening up the dam gates down Brisbane way in preparation....

I really hope you're safe and dry.  We've had a lot of water come through.  I've had the kids all check up on me today and one came home from her Dad's last night to stay with me lol... like she can save me lol.  I think we're going to flood here though.

Kayza is that Riverwood estate? I live there too but I've been on a cruise this week and was wondering how its been there! Everytime it rains there's that little bit of panic that sets in! Definitely can't wait to get home and make sure everything is ok - worried about driving with the kids in this weather on the highway though. I'm sure we'll b ok kayza 🙂

Hope you were ok on the drive and enjoyed your cruise.  It's pretty hiary out there on the roads.  Sandgate has really coped it in Brisbane.

I know where Riverwood estate is and so far it looks ok there.  The Bremer in town has just reached the walkway, the one that is built for a scenic walk not the walkway near the main road.  So it's still ok.

I'm about 30kms south of Brisbane & situated on the side of a quite steep hill.

The back patio is flooded almost up to my ankles.The wind is unbelievable & the noise is like a freight train at times.

The rain is almost blowing straight from east to west & actually hurts when it hits you.The gutters can't cope & water is pouring off the roof all around the house.

I went outside & took some photo's but don't know how to post them 😞

And unfortunately,owning only a cheap digital camera,you can't really see how hard the rain is hitting everything.
