We love Tassie and have spent a lot of time there in the last 12 months.
We're going back next year, but what have I missed?
Here are two maps of our visits so far.
We don't have a four wheel drive so any gravel roads are out.
So is Lake Peddar. Going on the Spirit with our own car.
Thanks in advance.

Did you eat lots of cherries. They grow the absolute best cherries in the country. The cherry shed at Latrobe is easy to stop at.
Cherries, cherry ice cream, cherry and raspeberry ice cream. I can't wait for my next visit there.

Tasmania is like Victoria. Even in winter it is great until the weather turns to ........... and then it is hunker down where ever you are.
Of course getting the weather right is easier in the period out of the depths of winter but I have found in my travels around Oz in 30 years that the same place can be totally transformed at different times of the year.
The key is to make sure you have things you can do IF the weather turns wet, cold and windy. Most people can handle one but when all 3 are together, ..........
The other good thing about Tas and Vic is bad weather / cold fronts tend to pass over and then it gets back to whatever is normal.
So you often only have to find activities for wet days then it will clear,
Except of course the Rainforests areas of Tas !

Don't you worry about those. Old Tones is doing his best to rid us of those nuisance rain forests. Nothing but a fire hazard they are. The only good tree is chopped down tree. They should be gone by the end of his first term.

Me too. I took 4 boxes on the boat last time and ate half a box, or more, on the road to Sydney. :D:D:D:D
