Just saw this.

Does anyone have a tattoo they regret? And why?

Re: Tattoos and regrets

I have scars too. Not from melanomas though.

Hope you are OK, bump

Where did I mention attractiveness?  You asserted that female tattooing is a relatively new phenomena.  I showed you it's not really.  No need for the eye roll.

Where did I mention that YOU said anything about them being attractive ? That was my tongue-in-cheek response to the photos.

Do wind your neck in.

Re: Tattoos and regrets

I actually saw a pic of one yesterday that is exceptionally well done, beautiful in fact but...the size of it was a bit out there. It was a guy with a pic of his baby, took up his whole left side torso.

It has bub's name in beautiful script but I cropped that out just in case. Again, I don't like tatts but if you must have one, you should make sure the tattooist is an artist.

I don't think women who get tattoos are sheep at all,  I think they know what they like and know their own mind.  Must say I like tatts and wish I was younger so I could get one or two.   For some reason I would like a spider on my shoulder.  Not to look sexy but just because I'd like to.  Just like I like to change my hairstyle every so often, or buy new clothing.  To please myself.

How old are you? Woman Surprised

There are lots of older women getting tatts! If you want one and are sure about it, just do it?

I don't want one. Not sure if it is a prejudice, or a health concern, or a self preservation thing...

fear of needles, thoughts about injecting ink into my body, maybe.

Youre right Azure and I know many women older than me who get them.  You've got me thinking now, but I wouldn't get a spider as much as I'd like to as I think it would frighten some people with a fear of spiders.  Wouldn't want them running away shrieking, lol.

It's funny, I used to dislike them on people but now I like them, though the whole body cover is a bit much on some I think. I really love the one a neighbour has of the first bar of the Moonlight Sonata, it's very inoffensive and meaningful to her.

Boris I hear you about the pain, dunno if I'm that brave.

I'm in agreement with you

If I won a prize consisting of $20,000 or even $100,000 to cover tattoos inflicted by any tattooist of my choice

I'd decline the prize

and it wouldn't take me even ten seconds to think about it

When I see tattood individuals, male or female, I automatically deduct 50 points from their IQ - even if they were certified rocket-scientists
