Calling it a weapon was probably a bit OTT but I think the security guards made the right call.   There are valuable artworks that could be damaged if the child was waving it around.

It was not confiscated, only held by security until the family left the premises.  No big deal really.

I've been whacked in the face with one of those sabers....  the force was well and truly with my 3yr old grandson that day...

It certainly didnt tickle...

Funny now, but i was actually quite taken back by how much pain it inflicted, being a plastic toy!  I'd call it a weapon.. LOL

I agree with you though, I think the Security made the right decission.
