How Ridiculous catch a fish with an iPhone on WA beach
The Perth group behind a string of far-fetched basketball stunts has achieved another seemingly impossible feat – catching a fish using an iPhone.
A member of the stunt group How Ridiculous has filmed himself fishing with the silver iPhone attached to his fishing rod, which he casts out into the ocean.
“You can use an iPhone for pretty much anything, but can a broken one be used as a fishing lure and work?” he asked.
Despite not having any bait on the hook, the man receives a bite and is involved in a tussle with a fish.
Soon after, he is heard laughing as he drags a salmon on to the sand.
“If you have an iPhone that’s completely destroyed by water and many other things stick a treble on it and you could get a salmon.
Crikey! Shoulda gone to Specsavers, ay!

It's shiny and they put hooks on it so off course you can catch Salmon with it.
We used to get all sorts of shiny metal objects and add trebles to them to catch Salmon and Couta,(it was
cheaper than lures).
The one that worked best was a small stainless steel tube,(which was flattened a bit at both ends).
Even the little metal rollers from a VHS tape worked and they caught Mackerel as well when you added a green
shiny bead.
Soft drink cans cut up and wrapped around things work great for Couta,
