Nope, no nudity, no watch. Can I ask, who in the world has ever learnt anything from the bible they couldn't have gotten from other sources????

Actually, Bob - I learned heaps from reading the OT - so much so, that it convinced me to become an atheist!
Sunday School certainly NEVER taught me what I read in the OT, that's for sure!

which American church has a serious problem? The title of your thread is pretty broad

Yes, Bob. I learned heaps from the Bible. Got thrown out of Confirmation classes because I asked to many questions the Pastor could not answer.
My father taught me to be observant and learn from everything I read. Put reality into fiction and discern what is possible and what is not.
Today I still apply this kind of thinking and questioning. Not only regarding the Bible, but to everything in our life.
American Church has serious problems. I am not surprised. There are thousands of different Churches, not only in America that have problems convincing enough people to believe that what they teach is the only truth.
Interpretation of a book written by men to control the masses. Go to Bible studies and listen to all the different interpretations, then pick your own.
Sorry Joanie, but I am partially deaf and can not hear anything on You Tube.

For the love of God, Who gave us everything that we have, the creator. A church service is uasally longer than this video, and watching a Sermon in this manor saves one the trip.
Suit yourself, you have to decide if this kind of thing is worth an hour of your time, Speaking for myself, I do it, for the love of God, I feel God deserves at least that much.

I don't go to church services either.
The man giving the sermon was quite boring. He reminded me a bit of abbott with his clicking sounds and pauses. He beat around the bush too much trying to get to his point, which incidently was a good point. I just don't need the bible to tell me what is obvious.
