Dont forget to watch The Bolt Report every Sunday  on Channel 10 at 10am and 4pm

Join Andrew Bolt, one of Australia's most read, most topical newspaper columnists, as he addresses today's political and social issues through opinion commentary, panel discussion and interviews.

This week

Abbott’s deficit tax. Sacrifice or suicide?

My guest: Amanda Vanstone, former Howard Government minister and member of the Commission of Audit.

The panel: Michael Kroger and Cassandra Wilkinson.

NewsWatch: Rowan Dean.

So much to discuss: destroying the handout mentality, the deficit tax and growing corruptions scandals. Plus:  the menace of Clive Palmer’s money and the arrest of a man who quoted Churchill in public.

And this: is Labor’s what-budget-crisis? strategy clever politics or a reckless betrayal of the national interest?

Your Say and more.

The videos appear here.

I do like Barry Cassidy! It's a much more credible show.  Not the same belly laughs though.

Also returning to Ten this year was The Bolt Report, hosted by News Corp columnist Andrew Bolt. Bolt, which screens at 10am, has less than half the audience of Insiders. Last Sunday it had 151,000 to Insiders’ 310,000 on one channel alone. Insiders also beats Sunrise and Today on Sundays.

have you got anything up to date

I tend just to watch and don't worry too much about ratings.
So. Have I got this right?

From your post - "In July 2013 the number of viewers of the program was approximately 168,000.[10] In November 2013 the program had an estimated 104,000 viewers.[1"

In November 2013 his viewer base was down to 104.000 from 168.000 within 4 months.

In February 2015 his viewer base was up to 151,000, over his November 2013 base and almost back up to his July 13 base?

Bolt isn't even on this morning.  They've dumped it for some car racing.

Well that's funny because I watched it this morning, not car races.

Abbott gives Insiders a boost

Insiders has only been back on air for four weeks but it has already clocked up some of its best ratings ever. On the back of an intense interest in the political fortunes of Tony Abbott, Insiders has increased its average audience from 292,000 in 2014 to 406,000 in 2015 (simulcast on ABC and News 24). Hosted by Barrie Cassidy since day one, the program has increased its audience every year for 14 years, according to executive producer Kellie Mayo, who has been steering the ship for nine years. Also returning to Ten this year was The Bolt Report, hosted by News Corp columnist Andrew Bolt. Bolt, which screens at 10am, has less than half the audience of Insiders. Last Sunday it had 151,000 to Insiders’ 310,000 on one channel alone. Insiders also beats Sunrise and Today on Sundays.

my second link was wikipedia with some older but similar information

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bolt_Report

Ratings

The program debuted with 163,000 while the encore received 123,000 viewers.[3] The debut was narrowly beaten by Insiders, which received 172,000 viewers.[4] Bolt stated on his blog he would like to beat Insiders[5] on which he had appeared for 10 years.[6] He reached this goal in his second episode, reaching 174,000 viewers, beating Insiders with 166,000.

In 2011 ratings for the show declined to 136,000 viewers for the third episode and 131,000 for the encore. This compared to 207,000 for Insiders.[7] For the remainder of 2011 The Bolt Report remained at the bottom of the free-to-air ratings for its timeslot.[8] This contrasted with The Bolt Report's 2012 ratings share which regularly exceeded that of Insiders.[9] In July 2013 the number of viewers of the program was approximately 168,000.[10] In November 2013 the program had an estimated 104,000 viewers.[11]

so, if I put both links in one post, (as I have done here) the result may be clearer to you.it's impossible to dispute the facts really

Yes but I'm not comparing it to the Insiders.

I'm comparing Bolt 2013 to Bolt 2015
