I saw this guy on ABC 24... he looked like death warmed up trying to explain why this is so bad.. but I found the interview totally lacking in substance and was just a bunch of one liners... and very confusing... 

in one sentence I think he said that the last time particles were this high England was under a ice sheet???? then he spoke about 4 degrees warming this time around.??? 

I just didn't get it..

I never denied the climate is changing, its the cause that I question and how a tax will fix it.

CO2 enrichment will add little more than 0.6 °C to global mean surface temperature by 2100.

Something man has not caused, however it will cost Australians $130 Billion dollars....to achieve nothing.

There are some things that the global warming nuts are inding hard to comprehend.

1 The climate has ALWAYS changed and always will.

2 The nuclear furnace at the centre of our solar system drives the climate.

3 A small change in the increase or decrease of average global temperature will always be happening.

4. There are locations on the planet which are densely populated that have an 80 degree celcius swing and life still thrives.

5 The only thing a tax will do is take from the taxpayer and top up the coffers of government, its a con job.

I agree with you Poddster.

This tax will also drive wealthy countries into poverty.

There are people too afraid to have a light on, turn a fan on in summer, a heater in winter and the next time a volcano coughs, there goes 40 million extra tonnes of co2.  Ridiculous.

Driving a country into poverty, spending $130 Billion - because man kind has produced 0.117% of the worlds c02 emissions.   Ridiculous. ( Only 3.618% of greenhouse gases is actually carbon dioxide).

In the meantime, every tonne of C02, every Kw I'm paying for - stops me spending it in local shops.......how long before they are out of business.

Wake up Alarmists..... start doing the maths.
