Community Spirit

Can really get with it

By posting a ditty,

A poem or a limerick.

It doesn't need to rhyme

Or be more than two lines

It can be sad or funny

About sunshine or bunnies.

The one with most kudos wins

There will also be a "judge's pick"

The judge is me and there will be 

No dissent from thee or thee 😉 😉 😉

So, grab your pen and paper, too

Find inspiration from what's around you

Or go back to the past or into the future

Write on haute cuisine, or even haute couture 🙂

You had a brief  fleeting thought

that p'rhaps i'd like to hold the fort

should you choose to say adieu,

but here's where  I feel compelled to inform you

your idea is simply quite crazy

as all are aware - I am far too lazy!  😛

To say no, not, or even nay

A mightier leader could never be

To lead my fellow poets and me
