WELL Done to the LNP cleaning up the massive mess left by Labor and the Greens.

Tomorrow marks 100 days since the election.

I want to update you on the progress that the Coalition Government has made in implementing our Plan to build a strong, prosperous economy and a safe, secure Australia.

We are purposefully, carefully and methodically putting in place policies to help families by reducing their cost-of-living pressures, improving job security, encouraging small business and delivering better services.

As you will see, the Government is keeping its commitments and implementing the plan we took to the election.

We are the Government that will scrap the Carbon Tax, end the waste, get the Budget back under control, stop the boats and build the infrastructure of the 21st century.

These are the practical measures that will help our country get ahead – as well as help you and your family plan your future with confidence.

My pledge is that we will not let up in 2014: every day we will keep building the stronger country that all Australians want and deserve.

Of course they don't, especially if they just like to make a lot of noise but lack the conviction of  the cacophony they spew forth 🙂

But LL, do you realise that you also practice it ? 🙂

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Newstart -  I don't mind you. Sure your political views 100% clash with mine but on other issues I have been impressed enough to kudo you as I have agreed with you on other subjects.

I am also mightily impressed that you front up every day and express your views and that the opinions you have (however misguided I think they are IMO only) are your own.

However you are wrong to pull up other members of CS for expressing their negative feelings about TA. Particularly as the talk is usually about political disappointment and topical issues related to the government relating to that day/week.

And you are also wrong (IMO) to support nero who does exactly what you incorrectly berate others for - copy/pasting, negativity, infinite bias and not expressing opinions for discussion. Supporting her (IMO) makes you look foolish and ruins your credibility.

Quite frankly, what the LP supporters have had to put up with for 2 years has been tiresome. The garbage posted had little to do with politics and encouraged no intelligent debate or argument.

Stand on your own two feet and debate the issues of (today's) government and we will all enjoy the boards a little more.Smiley Happy

Re: The First 100 Days of Government WELL done to the LNP

She [Labor MP] is a total joke and does not care at all about anything but her own agenda and how far she can go in politics. I wrote 3 letters to her and NOT ONCE did she or her office reply when she was the minister for human resources.

Can't stand the woman.

Not at all but who are you to criticise ? I was criticising her because she did not bother to reply to 3 letters written to her or instruct someone to reply, nothing to do with her job in parliament.

I was making a point that you also post negative comments about politicians. I wasn't criticising  that post as such. I have seen many more like that and none were related to unanswered letters.

So she gets written off as an efficient politician simply on the basis you didn't get a reply to your letters?

How do you know she even saw them? They wouldn't have been opened by her personally. How can not answering one citizens letters make her overall a total joke with an agenda of furthering herself?

After writing 2 letters and not getting an answer, did you ever think of phoning her office (if your letter was so important to you that you required an answer) and asking if they received your letters and if so, when you would get a reply?

MP's/their staff probably don't reply to abusive letters either.

Well said, Martini. The double standards from LNP supporters here is incredible. (for example.. 'don't post news articles (C&P)' by one LNP supporter, after another one has continually done exactly that for a year or more).

poddster - have you made any posts in this thread specifically about Tony Abbott and why you think him & his Govt have done well (or not) in their first 100 days?
