WELL Done to the LNP cleaning up the massive mess left by Labor and the Greens.

Tomorrow marks 100 days since the election.

I want to update you on the progress that the Coalition Government has made in implementing our Plan to build a strong, prosperous economy and a safe, secure Australia.

We are purposefully, carefully and methodically putting in place policies to help families by reducing their cost-of-living pressures, improving job security, encouraging small business and delivering better services.

As you will see, the Government is keeping its commitments and implementing the plan we took to the election.

We are the Government that will scrap the Carbon Tax, end the waste, get the Budget back under control, stop the boats and build the infrastructure of the 21st century.

These are the practical measures that will help our country get ahead – as well as help you and your family plan your future with confidence.

My pledge is that we will not let up in 2014: every day we will keep building the stronger country that all Australians want and deserve.

Re: The First 100 Days of Government WELL done to the LNP

The country elected the present government with a resounding voice, but the people who oppose that decision are reluctant to accept the voice of the majority, especially in this venue. 100 days and some people expect all the damage dealt out by the previous government over 6 years of carnage to be miraculously repaired.

It is understandable that the losers voice their disapointment, that will rise to fever pitch over the forseeable future, but no amount of jumping up and down is going to change the status quo.

Those who oppose the current government might like to apply some original analysis and some clear sighted view to their reasons instead of jumping on the bandwagon like good little sheepies and bleating whatever the bandmaster instructs them to bleat.

Just like most losers the sheepies latch on to anything that is even remotely negative and inflate it out of proportion to a point where it suits their particular political agenda.

Did I expect anything different???.................Nope

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Take into consideration people who voted for TA & LNP  mainly in view of  their election promises. Now they have broken several of those election promises already (as admitted to by them.. links have been posted!), do you not think poddster those voters are rethinking their support for the PM and his MP's. Broken promises.. lies...

The polls (links have been posted!) quite clearly show the status quo is changing.. not in TA's favour either.

Poddy likes to focus on the poster....not the subject.

The bottom line (no pun intended) is, that if you perform as a dud on your honeymoon, you have to change your techniques, or you will find yourself heading for the divorce court.

Newstart - why do you think people ( speaking generally) who favour one political party aren't going to be biased about the opposition party?

Accept that but why do people insist on name calling and making derogatory personal comments, polititians are still people who do not deserve to be called nasty names just because they are in the opposite party to which this person believes.

Call them by their title and leave the name calling out of the posts.

Keep it nice, I might cry if you write anything upsetting (like not)

Where's the list, newstart? I'm watching Nelson Mandela's funeral, so I'll pop back to read it in ten mins. Thanks.

Aren't I lucky, after Tony Abbott delivered his 100 days speech I cannot add anything other than I believe this government is trying to fix 6 years of uncontrolled spending and labor party disunity which took away the workability of the previous government. The problems facing us are enormous and it will take a long time for this country to be great again as it was in the Howard years.

I agree. But I haven't seen too much name calling lately. And I started many a thread last year on the same topic. Although someone did call Hockey fat. Not nice.

But where were you when we had to hear day after day Gillard called JuLIAR, "that waman" or simply "Julia" when she should (as should Abbott) becalled by her surname or simply as PM? Or how about Krudd? This seemed to be acceptable 6 months ago.

Newstart - I agree with you but there is no point crying foul NOW is there?
