Hi Sandy:-D,
I have my on-screen keyboard in the tray and use alt 3 for ♥.
My lappy doesn't have a seperate numbers pad to the right only on the second top row.
I tried everything and nothing else worked.
My desk top computer with the keyboard numbers on the right is also 'alt 3' for ♥

dilly if you do the same thing but with different numbers you can do ☻☺♦♣♠•◘ different things but i can't remember how to do the musical notes
