alyce, you're so very lucky to have a handyman around the house, as a handyman my O/H is a wonderful chef...I've been asking for 5 years now to do the trims throughout the house & clean the ceilings, his answer was "yes, I'll get round to it"...Hummp, so I just went out and got the little French painter, O/H keeps clutching his back pocket...think his wallet is burning his backside...:^O

No nicnac...I actually like doing it, an escape from the world for 30 minutes :^O He couldn't quite understand why I like mowing but he was so polite.

Well like you said it was nice of him to offer but you actually "like" mowing....oh no I rekon it`s the pits especially in our back yard as there are so many of Oscars missiles around,plus the girls have left a few too:^O

twinks, used to mow the lawn when we lived down in Brissie...nice flat yard and like you the escape was blissful, but try finding a flat allotment in Gympie that doesn't flood is impossible, so our back yard is about 90 deg going down...that's fine, coming back up again is another thing entirely. Still love doing the garden though, so escape that way. 🙂

Yes I am lucky. Hubby has decided to have a change in career in the near future and become a handyman full time. Having worked for himself both beef & dairy farming, he wasn't sure how he would handle working for someone else when we came off the farm. He has given it a go for 15 months, but it is not for him, and he has not been happy in himself.
So here's to a happier hubby, and a successful new career!
