Good morning everyone - very windy today in Brissie - even a little chilly.
Hope you all have a great day :-x

What have I been up to Dixo? We have been hanging the outside Christmas lights this morning.
I am so organised this year I am worried I am forgetting something. I am usually running late and hanging the lights a week before Christmas when all the neighbours have had the Christmas Spirit emanating from their homes for weeks 🙂

Photo's please prim. :-x
I love the night we drive around to check out the christmas lights.
We use to do it with the kids but now it's just mr frog and me on our own but we still do the drive every year. 😄
Wow your electricity bill must skyrocket at christmas time.
I think it's fair and reasonable to have a donation box out front each night, then the people enjoying your display can donate a coin towards your costs.

I apologize to both Iza and Rosie, :-x
I feel awful for not acknowledging your hello's earlier. This new system of not showing you all the pages posts is making everyone look rude.
It's not a very sociable set up for answering peoples posts is it! 😞
I hope you are both having a wonderful day. ♥
Gee it is windy in Redcliffe today and yes, it's a bit chilly Rosie. 😮

My lights aren't that grand Dixo LOL and don't cost much to run either. Most are solar.
I would not put a picture here because of trolls. We have had one of the RTR group tracked down via information handed over and they got harassing phone calls and a thug pacing up and down outside their house. The family were petrified. We are all very very careful now.
My daughter on the other hand, lives in a cul de sac and they do Christmas lights in the whole street. They have buses etc drive around. It is all quite beautiful.
When her children were smaller they would dress up in air filled santa outfits and dance to music. It was hysterically funny and they pulled huge crowds, so DD decided to put out a bucket and all money dropped in went to Father Riley towards his "Kids off the Streets" charity.
Now they are in their late teens her children don't do it any more.

I haven't even thought of Christmas - been too busy getting ready for this holiday and now it's nearly over. Heading home in the morning.
I don't have a lot of presents to buy - small family, 1 daughter, 1 son, 1 dil, 1 gs and all but our daughter got theme park tickets for up here on the Gold Coast. I have the main present for daughter but I usually have stockings for them all. I think I will still do that so they all get something on Christmas Day. Daughter's birthday is boxing day and have no idea what to buy.
There's a few friends kids I give money to and we cut out all other rellies when OH retired. We tend to have social occasions with them instead.

Hi/bye - can't read any more "stuff" today, I have got to get some sewing done. Been meaning to do it for ages now, but too tempting just to sit here & read everything all you guys/gals write!!!
