I am not sure what work you do Dilly but I do understand heavy pressure and exhausting timelines so I wish you well today.

Nics, enjoy some of that sunshine for me, I will be indoors most of today.

Afternoon treacle beaks:-)

Wow I have been popular this morning with the telemarketers.....until I tell them I am not interested:^O:^O:^O

Our son has decided to go ahead with his next lung surgery and was scheduled for next week. Unfortunately the hospital have just called and postponed it, so fingers crossed it will happen on 16th Nov:-(.
At least he will be on the recovery path in time for christmas, and the stressful everpresent threat of it happening again will be removed:-)

I am not sure what is wrong with your son Alyceanne but I hope everything goes well for him. Such a big thing for him to undergo but if it makes him well, then it is a good thing.

Hi Primaryaim, our almost 20year old keeps having spontaneous lung collapses. He has suffered 3 within a 3month period this year, and coupled with a prior one the year before, has had to undergo lung surgery to prevent them recurring. He had his r lung operated on at the end of July, and has only just been able to return to work.
Apparently due to his thin lanky tall build and weighing only 61kgs, he is the high risk category. Each time he has had one it causes damage to the lung, so surgery is the only way to prevent more damage. After the surgery is over on his L lung, his risk will minimise from over 85% to less than 5%, so he will be able to resume his normal lifestyle.

That looks like very good percentages to me so bring on 16th.

We never imagine when we give birth, the trials and tribulations of our children's paths. Who would imagine anything like that could happen? It is not something you even contemplate.

I am glad he is on the path to good health and getting his life back ๐Ÿ™‚
