Morning stb`s,

I`m just about to head off shopping so thought I`d pop in and say hi.I have to agree that the boards aren`t the same anymore,it`s sad but maybe that was ebay`s intention to slowly lose us all:-(Sandy you are doing a wonderful thing re medals.It must have been about 2 years after my Dad passed away that I asked my mother for Dad`s medals so I could give them to Jack to keep as he never got to see Pa & they were something to keep in the family..however my "lovely" mother unbenown to me sold them & the saddest thing is she didn`t need the money...I will never forgive her for that....plus she had the nerve to also sell her brothers medals too & he was killed in action:-(

Anyway enough said as you can see her actions still upset me,so lovelies enjoy your day and will catch you all later:-x

Well, today it's mr frogs top and tail procedure at the hospital today.

Poor darling is drinking his potions ready for the onslaught. *Trying to wipe the little grin off my face*  B-)

I have to get things organised all ready for his relief driver tonight and get the orders into the bakery on time.... OMG It's one of the busiest days because of gluten and organic orders... meh! Oh the pressure Lol.

Better get moving I guess.

That's terrible nic - the guy who is doing them is an expert in Military medals and did tell us they are worth quite a lot of money these days.  I still can't understand throwing family heirlooms away like that.  Given the chance, my mum would probably have done the same.  She wasn't sentimental at all and I have no momentos of my younger years.

Sandy I've had a good day, sort of, have been cleaning out my wardrobe & I'm trying to be really harsh as I have so much stuff., but I wish I'd never started, i have clothes everywhere ATM  :^O

I don't know how I'm going to fit it all back where it came from, even though I've filled up a big bag

I am giving my grandson my father's medals for Christmas - I have put them in a lovely wooden box with his name on it along with an album containing his war records (First WW) and photos.  I have also bought him a bronze statue of a WW1 digger.

I am thrilled that he has shown such an interest in his great-grandfather.

I took him in at 3pm so it should be any time now I'd say...

I don't think he realised what he was in for... I did have a chuckle or two.... my poor darling! Lol.
