ahhh hawk if only it were that simple ... apparently I have been informed that they only pay overtime after we work an 8hr day (normal day is 7.5hrs) .. and only then up to 2hrs .... so technically unless I work over 30mins per day it doesnt count .... **bleep** ??? ,.,.... to me if you are rostered on for a 75hr fortnight and you work an 80hr fortnight then you are owed 5hrs overtime .... apparently not as my pay certainly hasnt reflected all the extra hours Ive worked ... for this last fortnight I got paid 2hrs at time n a half .... for the previous fortnight they reimbursed me a lousy $25.... said this was an error in calculations ... I gotta say its nonsense ..... but they reckon its correct ... pfft to them ...
told the manager I have to right to walk once my shift ends ... and will consider doing it if they dont lift their game .... may leave them in breach but why should I care .... nobody should have to work for technically nothing ...
anyway after this next week Im off to work for a different company and I doubt I will have to work as much overtime there ... (well hoping not) ... there does seem to be an increasing dearth of qualified care givers within the industry ... and even less who are willing to do relief work like myself .... so they better treat me well ... cos Im about the only one they have on their books at present ๐ฎ
well enough whinging .... hope youre well ... and the weather is treating you nicely .... over here we missed spring again ... straight into the hot weather ... today its a bit overcast and had a mini sprinkle of rain ... but doubt that will continue ... LOL

LOL ... gotta laugh .... when you read the above please take note I did not in fact put the word ... **bleep** in my sentence .....
I actually wrote a 3 lettered capital word .... in fact Rove used to use at least two of the words on his show ... had a little segment called 'What the ....?' it was so funny .... had lots of unexplainable items on it ... sad its not on anymore ....
anyway I transgress ..... Im sure you will work out what I actually typed ... in my opinion nothing worth bleeping out ... hahahahaha ๐
pg 5 again .... I remember when it was always on pg 1 ....those were the days **sigh**
well finished my work at that centre ... start at a different one on monday ... and barring the week of xmas & new year will be there until I go on holiday in january ... ๐ฎ ....
gotta go back to my usual centre on the 2 xmas weeks .... but all good ... as the owner of the centres has decided we wont be opening on the friday after xmas & boxing day .... giving us all a 5 day break ... woohoo !! .. about time he did something for his staff ๐
off to their xmas party and awards night tonite .... hoping its going to be better than last years which was rubbish .... but its free ... other than the parking costs I have to pay .... but we will see ...

well awards nite was okay .... parking a pain .... cost me $15 .....rip off if you ask me ...
working at a different centre now until I go on holiday .... other than the xmas & new years weeks when Im back to my usual centre (covering the boss's holidays) ..... but am looking forward to the long break .... these weeks are flying by ... and the weekends are just as quickly disappearing .... sadly ....
as Ive seen the piccies of your daughter's graduations nite ... I know it all went well dsk .. and she looked gorgeous โฅ
