She_ele, would you like a giant bowl of fruit salad for dessert?? LOL, I made a big olf fruit salad for the boys' karate wind-up and it wasnt touched. Luckily my kids are big fruit eaters and it will be all gone soon. LOL.

Think Ill take the kids for the Santa photo tomorrow, will probably be my last one as Mr9 has indicated that he is not really believing any more. Maybe thats why Im not really into it this year, Mr5 is pretty old for his age, I doubt he will believe next year either. *sigh* why do they have to grow up??

DSK, did you want to try the spin class in the morning?? It starts at 9:30, but we get there a bit early, I can show you how to set the bike up and stuff if you like?? First day of the holidays, Im going to really need the motivation. LOL!

Night night Waussies.

Lousy weather up here but at least it didn't turn into a cyclone!

Even had the three animals huddling together when the wind was dreadful.

Good for you buying yourself some new outfits Puddles.

My advice Tende? Dye it black that red dust NEVER comes out! You had rain? My niece in P/H says they got none but Karratha got heaps. My OH is in Newman and they have had some over night and plenty of lightening.

One thing worse than Pilbara dust...Pilbara mud! LOL

Good Morning Waussies,

Gorgeous photo tende...

Lis, Normally I would love to (cos I'm really scared of that class) but I have drawn "driving Mum around day"...
We all take turns as mum does'nt have her license.
It just so happened..that mum's only day off for a while (which means heaps of shopping) and all of my sisters are either working or busy....

My Hubby flatly refuses to take mum shopping after losing her in a free standing Coles for over an hour and1/2:^O

We really do love our mum:-x

wish me luck waussies:O

Morning all. Such a cute pic Tende. I am more certain than ever that Skipper has some Corgi in him.
so glad the cyclone didn't eventuate; fingers crossed for the rest of the season.

Well, I did go with the cold meats in the end.
We started with a culiflower and blue cheese soup (it was yummy) then cold ham, turkey and smoked salmon with garden salad, potato and egg mayonaise, coleslaw and Waldorf salad; and finished with a big platter of fresh fruit and cream (dessert was brought by one of the guests) It was a really enjoyable evening.

And this morning I hear that gorgeous granddaughter won the Bunbury final of the Miss Hawaian Tropic Competition last night, and will be off to the Gold Coast for the Nationals (some time early next year I think) I am so delighted for her - it should be a great boost for her modelling career.

You are so right Mugssy, the mud is gross.

Yup we've had a fair whack of rain here, sometimes yesterday looking out I couldn't see anything at all except rain, no other boats, no land, nothing.
We've had a pretty good lightening show the last few nights too.
The good thing is we really needed the rain and at least it washed the boat pretty well.

Not a bad idea about dyeing the cover although when we leave here, I reckon half of everything will be thrown away.

That all sounds yummy She ell, Waldorf is my fave salad, I like it with pecans instead of walnuts. Did you buy the soup in a pouch in Coles? I look at it and think yummy!

Tende I had a rethink, dye it orange instead! The more I see skipper the more I see corgi too BUT also ALOT of "Northern Territory Cattle Dog" LOL.

Good luck with your Mum DSK, rather you than me!

I have the air con man coming today sometime between 8:30 and 5:30 and the shed people are coming at 7:30 I guess that makes them almost an hour late already!

Have a nice day Waussies and ~~~~waves to the mia~~~~
