Last day of term, woo hoo, I love the holidays!!!!!!!!

MissF was asked this morning if she would like to go on a leadership camp in the 2nd week of hols. Short notice or what?! She wants to go, but she doesn't want to be away all that time. Teacher said think about it. After missing out on so much for so long with her sport injury, she's keen to get involved with all sorts of things, I am leaving the decision to her, she's very wise & won't commit if her heart isn't in it, or just to keep the school happy.

Keelia, those dates are Thursday to Thursday.

LTS Even if Miss F doesn't end up going on the camp, she must be really chuffed to have been asked. I'm so glad that things finally seem to be going well for her.

bless ya, ele - yes FINALLY I dare to believe that things are on the up for her.
Sure is flattering for her to be asked, you'r right. The school knows she would take full advantage of it & really get stuck in there, participate well & represent the school honorably. She is really hoping to be selected/voted to be a student leader next year, but she expresses that because lots of kids in her year don't know her, she may not get picked. (She is doing yr11 atm because of missing so much school).
I disagree with her - & there are a number of reasons for her to be optimistic about having a leadership role next year when she's in yr12...
That would be the icing on the cake for us all, I have always believed both of the DD's would be brilliant school leaders. MissM is a prefect this year, & I'm sure MissF will be a leader of some sort next year.

Sounds good to me she-ele. I don't work Friday or Tuesday so won't be in the shop those days. See how it pans out for you. You are staying so close I could even do a Sat arvo or Sunday morning if that was better.
