Hi LTS:-) do you find the cold increases the pain and the swelling or just the pain?

Hello hawk!
The cold seems to increase the pain, there's no swelling... the heberden's nodes in my fingers get super-sensitive in the cold, if I bump them it's really painful & the pain stays for a while after...

I have taken to wearing the gloves that have half-fingers, & use panadol osteo when the pain is bad.

Running in and out...

Ta Keelia, he is a major cutie....
Hope you had a good day with Zozo... shopping centres scare me....lol

Master 11 sounds like a great lad LTS..maybe a new writer in the future?
Have fun sewing..
You are 100% right too, Skipper is a livewire one minute, lapdog the next.

Hawk, after we (the dogs' come in with me) finished work this morning, I took them for a walk/run along the beach for 40 minutes.... Chloe plodded along, Skipper did roughly 30 times the amount of racing around...
Then came home and crashed....

I must go, I've been doing my ancestry again and have had to fill the generator up twice to have electricity!..

Have a great night and weekend all. x

No problem hawk, I am quite ok about it all. Ask away any time...
I just have to manage it, is all. Most of the time I don't really think about it, I just work around it. (Same as my sometimes-dodgy back.) It's a beast at times, but I do ok with it. My stitching is still good, so I must be doing something right!
I don't complain, I am very aware that I have people around me every day who have true suffering & challenges in their lives...

you could put one of those gizmos on skipper, the ones that track the distance covered by the wearerB-). Skipper would cover a lot of ground at the beach or at the park, I bet.

She_ele - I am quite up front in saying that I am old-fashioned about some things... I limit his use of his mac & internet time, he has jobs he has to do, & as for the reading, well we are a household of readers! The Miss16's are avid readers (they've read all Tomorrow books twice over!) & MrSew & I always have a book or two on the go. So it's a good influence for him. He's a amazing the way he will read for half a day, only getting for the toilet...

Also, he writes... he writes alternative chapters/storylines for books he has read/is reading. He also writes his own short stories. Teacher says she can tell he reads a lot, & a variety thereof.

I know you are nodding, saying to your BigPinkSelf, good on you Mr11!!!

gorgeous doggy - I bet he can be a livewire one minute & a lap dog the next!

That's great love 2. All my kids are avid readers, and the teachers comments are the same as yours above. They read them last, becasue they never know what to excpet from them, and always are enjoyable to read. Guess it's like ending a nights marking on a high. lol
