The Reminder Thread

Kilroy had that wonderful suggestion of abstaining from posting on the ridiculous proliferation of repetitive political threads for a week.

As of TODAY!

Even the thought of not allowing those threads to dominate, lightened the CS mood over the weekend.

So can we let the spammers wallow in their own mud this week all on their lonesomes? Can we ignore the drivel and let the Bolt afficionados chat amongst themselves? (I am looking directly at you LL  X-()

As expected the unimaginative ones are bumping all their threads. But let this thread be a reminder that the boards are for a wider collection of the community who have no interest in hate filled propaganda that are currently choking the boards.

I doubt if kilroy would mind if we started a little early. ๐Ÿ˜‰

As Az said - it's good practice.

You can't steal someone else's idea and make it your own.;-)

People may not read his thread until today or tomorrow or later. With having  the challenge start next Monday, a lot more people will be able to start then for the 7 day challenge.

7 days;-)

Have more effect if everyone started on the same day and did it for 7 days, from then on it may become the norm.

Re: The Reminder Thread

I dunno am.

Seems to me that most everyone has ignored the political threads so all they are doing is talking to themselves.

Cant complain about that now can we? ๐Ÿ˜„

Re: The Reminder Thread

No, it makes others aware of what action they can take.:-)

I read a lot of that political stuff here and it is the same old same old, copied from elsewhere as most have noticed.

I was surprised when I looked at some links for Liberal MP's FB pages, and the exact same stuff was on there, about Labor and the blue T shirts, dopey graphs and cartoons etc, stop the boats (with no info on how they were going to do that).

Not an original thought has gone into the threads, just copying others misguided outrages.

I wont even mention the betting odds being posted frequently in random threads.

Re: The Reminder Thread

Well I started yesterday. I'm simply not opening those threads.

This is the cemetery at Lone Pine.

Which of these guys were leftist luvvies?

Which were right wing radicals?

And in the end, what the hell did it matter?
