I think Bob's point is that pretty much all of them have been dead for years now, it's been at least 3 maybe even 4 years since 'it' happened. They should be really disintegrated by now.

The no food thing bothers me a little bit too, but I try not to think too much about it when I'm watching. LOL

I'm curious how a zombie that's been dead for awhile (sometimes years)can still come back becasuse the brain cells have already deteriorated so much as to be useless.

I think you'd find regardless of how terrible your living conditions were you'd still fight for your life. Maybe that's why I've always appreciated the small things in life....hot water, good boots, a dry place to sleep on something soft.

I'm no expert in zombies, but I've thought of as a virus that operates the body. While the body is rotting away the virus cells are fine, and like ants in an ant colony they form single living thing....from our perspective.

And Bob....everyone would find a place they belong in my group. Unless they want to run things. ( because then they'd be the next dinner! ๐Ÿ™‚ )

They must run out of petrol soon too. suppose theres lots of cars around though with full tanks maybe.

Ive just finished season 3.....was so sad when Andrea died, really thought she was going to get out of that. how excruciating watching her trying to get the stupid plyers.

Have to wait briefly for season 4. am having withdrawals, think I might watch Zombieland again in the interim, its a good zombie flick, funny.

LOL Duff, loved Zombieland.

I was actually glad to be rid of Andrea, never liked her. And a few others, but I don't remember if they're still around at the point you're up to. LOL. I kinda miss Shane though.

Yes he was Dr Who. The 2008 Christmas special. he thought he was the doctor.

David Morriessey is a good actor, one of my favourite British actors.  He was great in the Thorne series

Speaking of Shane can someone explain to me, in his final scene. It seems like he was "turning" but I don't remember him being bitten. Why's that?

Yes he was turning because he'd been killed by Rick and as per what the doctor at the CDC told Rick once people die you turn unless you've been shot/stabbed in the head.

Doesn't matter how you die, and you don't necessarily have to have been bitten by a walker. Anyone who dies since all this started turns into a walker regardless.

Shane had 'turned' and was after Rick but Carl shot him in the head and killed him once and for all.

If you can't remember the Doc at the CDC telling Rick this it was because he'd whispered it to him not long before the CDC blew into kingdom come. Rick didn't tell anyone until later in Season 2.

This explains why you see them sticking a knife in someones head after they've died from something other than a zombie bite, or shooting them in the head. (you see this quite often during Season 3)

(my daughter told me about this series a month or so ago and loaned me all her DVDs and I've been catching up on the show and am quite addicted.)
