1) Be impeccable with your word. 

2) Don't take anything personally.

4) Always do your best 

5) Listen to everything but be skeptical.

It wasn't a flippant comment, it is a scenario I genuinely considered. I really did stop to consider whether he may need understanding, support and compassion before I concluded that he was a Muppet. I mean, there really does have to be something wrong with someone who posts with the specific intention of getting a rise out of anonymous people on a chat forum. You really do have to consider that there are a few Roos loose in the top paddock or wonder what is missing from their life that elicits that kind of behaviour.
