Well Trace, my mum's funeral was on Melbourne cup day and I dont remember the other cup day's, Hubby said he couldnt recall waht we did either the last years,

sooooooooooooo today i didnt even think of the cup, and hubby said lets go and put a bet on, we did, i chose number three as i have three boy's of my own, i was happy that it won, so it was a win for my mother she would be dancing on a rainbow, she sure would.
I miss her today, oh gee leaky eyes,

that's a very hard thing to do, I have not doubt. I hope that some of his possessions will become treasures of other family members now, to honour him. Just be patient with yourself at this time. xo

How cute is this?? She has taken to her exam this afternoon, THE bag she took to her 1st day at kindy in 1998!! She chose the fabric & shape, I made it for her. She said "I took it for my very first day at school, & now I will take it to my very last".

I kept the bags & they have been used for various things over the years, but have stayed in good condition.

oh you two STOP IT, my eyes are leaking already!!...

Exam started st 2pm (WA TIME, the correct time) finishes just after 5. So I will report later tonight.

zaidee, yes very cute indeed! Part of me is excited for her to begin making her own path in life as an adult now... branching out & all that. I sometimes I just so wish for a rewind, a few moments of fluffy hair, small clothes, story books, pretend play & dress ups. Just a few moments, so don't forget. All this is a bit harder for me than I thought it would be. I know she will continue to be as wonderful as she always has been, I am very blessed.

tez, I hope you don't have to rush what you're doing with your Dads possessions. Bring to mind the wonderful times, & know that he's so proud of you, treating his things with such respect & love.

Oh darlin, i know it is hard,i remember when my baby girl use to take her brother's bike and him her pram, he loved me brushing his hair she hated it, i use to paint their faces and them mine,

I look at their pics and think how far they have both come a long way and Im proud of both of them, they are good young people, i am a lucky mummy. My older ones are good men too, but im closer to the younger ones, funny about that, Your daughter is very lucky to have a mummy like you one that gives time to make her that little bag she loves so much.

Have a nice evening Pinky, and I hope little pink gets all she is hoping for.
