ive known people to live in a van while demolishing and building a new house
I've seen people do that here too, but they have to get a special permit. Usually when a house burns down.
I'va also seen houses with giant RVs parked next to them, big enough to live in. But I've only seen them on large properties (with a large house)....probably &20,000 in taxes and up. A large propery without any house on it might only be $4,000.
If someone was to park an RV or a trailer on a property like that, it would get reported. I guess a property large enough NOT to be visible to anyone would probably go for a million or more. And large properties are disappearing fast!

Jimmy all the toys sound like my place last year ,only have a cubby house now and it's out the back !
Yeah, but you have a big place. I lived at a place where the neighbours yard was visible from my house and I hated looking out the window and seeing all those toys. I'll take a picture next time I see what I'm talking about.
But every day leaving for work I'd have to see that mess and would try not to look that way....it was annoying.
Happy when I moved from there! Now if only I could get the neighbours dog to stop barking, lol.

im thinking it would be great to have a RV say if you had a few cheap get'a'way blocks for a bit of time out, jim
basic land rates and an eletricity connection, bring your own water etc.
not sure if thats legal to live like that full time though as your permanent residence
i know if you have a caravan travelling around, you can not park anywhere for the night
you have to lodge in to a caravan park and pay the fees
