The senate is where the focus should be.

Will the regressive Greens control the direction that this country will take?

Well I was going to vote for the Greens in the Senate. Makes sense given the situation.

While i agree that there should be some checks and balances i doubt that the Greens are the ones to apply those. we have all seen their retrograde attitude to ..................EVERYTHING. so who is going to apply checks and balanced on the Greens?

Will you give them the opportunity to dictate their oppressive attitudes om the majority of people?

Seeing as the Greens will never be in charge of running the country, they don't need checks and balance.

And even if their voice is extreme left, they will be moderated in parliament. If they indeed need to be because I think their policies are fairly sensible as a whole.

I don't agree.

They needs the Labor Party and the Labor Party needs them. The synergy is little different from the Coalition except that the Greens are a little more finicky.

Synergy is a good word for both situations.

Where as symbiosis is close, as it is of mutual benefit, parasites feed off the host and not only give nothing back but in a lot of cases cause the death of the host
