Re: The real Tony Abbott

Haha so funny seeing the lib supporters unable to find a single positive thing about this government, so they bleat the same old complaints about an old government. Over and over..., in three months I have not seen a single positive comment from any supporter lmao

I'd be embarrassed too, if I'd been silly enough to vote for them.

The real tony abbott has no leadership qualities and I'm pretty sure we'll see rumbling in the lnp ranks soon.

I thought the same, fiesta. I pity the poor reporter that was sent out to do that story.

Spot, how many boxing matches did he lose to earn the nickname of Canvas Back?

Not sure fwb.He did win a Blue in boxing at Oxford,so at least he tried to defend himself.Unlike another famous Australian boxer,AJ who apparently likes being punched around the ring.

Re: The real Tony Abbott

And to tell the truth, neither party have anyone decent, honest and trustworthy enough to be a leader.

If Labor did not have the KR - JG - KR backstabbing and faction splits, maybe 50% of voters would not have votd for Liberal? TA was not liked very much, but people were hoping that the party would rectify what damage Labor has done, and they lost their trust in Labors politicians.

As far as I am concerned both KR and TA are selfserving, selfopinionated, arrogant little dictators, and JG was a puppet to the s**t stirrers string in her party. Took her a topple to realise that.

Well, why fight here and argue over politicians that are not worth a cent of the money they get for doing nothing for our country? Find someone that is honest, trustworthy, intelligent and strong enough to work for the people of this country and not for themselves and their mates.

This is my opinion on todays politics.

BTW, I voted for neither, because I did not like the candidates and what was happening.

There isn't much to argue about, nobody can defend abbott, the article is pretty truthful about the man, his history, his views and his terrible start to being pm

Re: The real Tony Abbott

Well you have your precious ALP party to thank for putting Mr Abbott in the job as PM, Donna, with it's bickering and scandal and the Rudd/Gillard/Rudd circus.

Until the ALP have a suitable candidate for the job (which is not looking like anytime soon),  enjoy the fruits of your Labor!

What is this " damage"  that " Labor has done"?   From my point of view, the population is doing very well.  How many billions did they spend a few weeks ago?  Pensioners gained $5,000 during Labor's time, never before matched by the conservative parties.  Our economy is envied by many other countries.  I live in a holiday area, there are no vacancies.
