I can't be bothered waiting half an hour on the phone to the FAO, lol.  I just wanted to know if the schookids bonus payable sometime this month, is applicable to children in Prep?  TIA 🙂

yes, so long as you registered before Dec 31st and informed them the child was going.

In Qld, it is equal to kindergarten, as Qld used to start at grade 1.

so, what do you have there? we have prep, year 1, year 2 etc.

Does NSW still have kindergarten, year 1, year 2 etc?

You will get paid $420 this year... half will come with your FTB Part A  payment after the 9th. The other half will come with your first payment in July. 

As your child is just starting school you might find it  advisable to pop into your closest office and let them know that your child is starting school this year...
