The shocking things done in the name of God

I really don't understand why people would not all be at the least agnostic's if not outright atheists

Thank God for Gough Witlam who bought in the unmarried mothers pension.

I went to see the movie Philomina it is hard to believe that caring Nuns could treat 14 year olds the way they did back in the sixties

what gives these religious people the right to judge anothers actions?

Took me years mugsy to realize I did not have to be a catholic and believe all that was fed me.

That movie confirmed my decision to be nothing.

And yes it is good that people now actually think for themselves or some do.

well, it wasn't just nuns was it? it was the way it was........... and rare for anyone to treat 14 yo pregnant girls any differently?

I have a friend who went through that at 13.......... the people who abused her and took her baby were not nuns..... her parents were equally as bad and it was the result of a **bleep**, for which she was made feel it was her fault. The school had a lot to answer for............. and never did.

I am not sure I want to watch that movie, was it worth it Margo?

What really makes the film is the way Philomena's faith survives the terrible ordeal intact.

So, it seems you didn't get that from the movie Margo?

Azure she was a good person I liked her a lot but my thoughts were pretty much with the jurno who could not forgive such treatment.

The show was not at all depressing even with the subject matter it was very sad in parts but the dialogue was hilarous at times.
