Labor leadership hopeful Bill Shorten  says he has the campaigning skills needed to take the fight to  Prime Minister Tony Abbott.

The senior MP took his election pitch to Melbourne on Saturday,  telling Labor members that he had the qualities needed to win back  the 'one million' voters that shunned Labor during the recent  election.

He said his biggest strength would be campaigning skills picked  up during his days as a union leader.

To be a labor leader you dont really need an education all you need are campaigning skills and a background as a Union heavy

He was educated at Xavier College and Monash University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws. During his time at Monash, Shorten was a founding member of Young Labor Network, a right wing Labor youth caucus. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne.[3]

Shorten began working in the labour movement while still a student, working part-time for federal Labor Minister Gareth Evans and later Neil Pope, a minister in the Labor state government of John Cain. After graduating he worked for 18 months as a lawyer for the firm of Maurice Blackburn Cashman, a firm which generates a large portion of its income representing trade unions.

Bill Shorten has the charm of a newt & the communications skills of an eft  He's a  union heavy, married up, short tempered & mad with ambition,  Wait...........OH yeah, he's perfect to lead Labor.

I hope he wins, he's just what Labor needsright now a charmless cranky thug who has been known to spit & shove a woman in the past. It's well know he's a pig with no respect for women.

 so he'd be the best candidate in your view ? if that is true he's just like the PM . but smarter. thats a win win for you lot.
