No I don't understand thank you, and I'd thank you not to put that permutation on me.
I asked you to explain why but you have no explanation as to why you used "beheadings" to make a joke of hanging washing on the line and being "beheaded" by your neighbour.
Your point being to take a swipe at anybody who takes this terror threat seriously, which is totally missing the point and makes you the perpetrator of drumming up hate by your continued comments.
isil, which we know is "beheading" innocent people every day are extolling their followers in Australia to "behead" an innocent person so what you said as a joke is not that far from what isis have told their followers in this country to do.

Exactly, Lightning.
If it was not intended as a joke, then it means that Polks was seriously warning Az about the possibility of her peaceful hardworking neighbours coming over to behead her while she's hanging out the washing.
They did say "any random Aussie".

Exactly, Icyfroth. Such is the fear that has been attempted to be whipped up here.

In response to ASIO and Federal Police investigations, of course. Or is that a joke as well?

It just astounds me the amount of people making light of this.
Everyday i expect to wake to news of some sort of terrorist attack within Australia.
We are going to Sydney and Canberra next month and its on my mind that something could happen while we are there.
None of what is going on is our Governments fault. Thank goodness our Governement is taking steps to prevent any sort of terrorist attack from happening here.

Labor to back anti-terror legislation, George Brandis says
Australian Defence Force personnel advised to wear civvies due to terror threats
Australia to tighten anti-terror laws over ISIL threats
Not just a fear-mongering exercise by some of the posters here on CS as it would like to be portrayed.

congratulations on your peaceful neighbours, Az.
Here's how others are raising their families:

OMG, and we paid for this creature for 19 years?
We don't have a clue what's going on, we don't know just how many terror cells there are and mushrooming by the day since isil showed its ugly head to the world.
We can be sure of one thing, PM Abbott will do as he said, he will do whatever has to be done, he will do it without fear or favour, something we never saw from Labor.
And all we get from the left on here is excuses more excuses and ridicule.
It would be a more feasible argument if anyone who challenged or debated weren't referred to as the "left". No-one has declared their political allegiance when putting up opinions that are not in agreement with others.
Tony Abbott will do whatever it takes to increase his poll rating and be seen to be a leader. Even international commentators have condemned his scare tactics and have expressed dismay that a Prime Minister would go into such sordid detail about how citizens could be killed and then go on to say that regardless of that we should all go on with our normal lives. And it has had the affect he was after. Some are running scared as if there is someone around every corner just waiting to behead them. Reports from the Federal Police have stated that it is not clear how the conversation regarding the beheading was undertaken.
All he has done is increased fear, created division and the muslim community are rightfully feeling victimised. All for his own end. The Muslim community are being verbalised, having coffee thrown at them, being intimidated, for what? It's not them personally who have made any threats. Do we ban all people aged 20 - 30 off the roads because some are bad drivers and are more likely to kill us with their bad driving?
There may be some threats made. But there is very little we can do about it. We can have 30 police on every corner but the one corner they are not on may be the one targetted. It is so obvious that it is a scare campaign and it has worked. We have the laws in place to address any type of threat and increased laws will only seek to cause more harm to us. Look at the poor fellow on the Tiger flight yesterday. Hauled off by the federal police because someone was 'scared' of him doodling on a piece of paper.
I don't want to live in a country where a government can be judge and jury for any perceived crime and that is certainly the way it is going with these new aniticipated laws being introduced. No law is going to stop anyone from committing any act they want to carry out, all it does is restrict the freedom of its citizens.
