Theats or acts of agression on any other school is unacceptable in our country. If such acts were to be seen then any school no matter if they are Jewish or not deserves the protection of their children to be the highest priority of any governament.
The callous calling of not funding Jewish schools because they can afford it is not what this country was built on, matter what faith or creed one adhere's to, to say otherwise is not on.
Our children are our future and they must be protected and if state governments pay for it then I'm fine with that.
But hey, if you'er OK with only funding non Jewish schools becausr the Jews can afford to look after themselves then that's your right.

& yes, those links change my perspective on it as the bomb wall was mostly funded by the community & the rest was given in govt. grants to various schools to do as they see fit
the grants are for:
The programme will provide non-recurrent funding for security measures, such as closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, lighting and fences, and for the cost of employing security guards.
It is a targeted and merit-based grants programme that provides funding to government and non-government schools and preschools assessed as being at risk of attack, harassment or violence stemming from racial or religious intolerance.
The Australian Government shares the community's concern about crime and violence and their impact on people's lives.
Although the states and territories have primary responsibility for the criminal justice system, since 1996 the Australian Government has undertaken a range of substantive initiatives aimed at reducing the incidence of violence and other crime in Australia.
This website outlines some of the Australian Government's major initiatives in this area.

Not sure what you're on about LD but I thought only that school had received funding & other schools hadn't, which didn't sit right with me
No you did not.
You specifically said that Jews can fund their own schools and you'd rather see the money going to welfare handouts.
You can try to obfuscate the truth but its what you said and you stand by it as is your right to do so.
