Things That Get My Goolies

1. Elastane in garments like jumpers and jeans is all fine and good for making things nice and comfy-stretchy, but it tends to expand with body heat and go all baggy.

2. I hate when you have to brake sharply and your handbag, that's been sitting on the passenger seat goes flying and empties all it's contents into the footwell. Grrr!

3. Got to work and went to make a cup of coffee with our lovely coffee machine. There were three people in line in front of me at a time when people should be at their desks booting up their computers. Me included, 😄

I went away to do something and came back. Still 2 ppl in front of me. I went away and came back again, someone had barged in front of me. Finally when it was my turn the ruddy machine needed to have beans and water filled. Of those 3 people in front of me, not one of them thought to fill beans or water while they were waiting for the cups to fill! Happy just to walk away and leave it for the next person, me, who they could see was waiting. Double Grrr!

I would just like to know where the rest of tthe material in in cloths you buy has gone.

I am not a big person but every thing in the shops is cut so narrow.???

I used to buy bonds knickers but they have shrunk as well, I thought I had put on weight but when I held them up to a older pair, the new knickers were 20% smaller.

lol Lion...I used to be a medium....in these new sizes I'm apparently large....perspective eh?

don't get me started on leg length...I'm 5'10" and pants are always too short.

would you believe I still have the same jeans I owned 30 years ago?  like 4 pairs and I ain't giving 'em up for nobody...great denim, great fit.

To short LOL I am 5.1 and all pants are to long for me, 3/4 tights fit as full length on me

What gets my goolies is people who don't walk to the left.

I have to walk through Central and the city every morning and every arvo and I have to fight my way through the people on the footpath. It's worse when trying to cross at the lights and there are 50 people on the other side and they are all over the place.

Walk. To. The. Left.

It ain't that hard!

Whoops sorry :8} I wondered why the last time I went to Sydney I kept bumping into people. I'm from the country we don't have to worry about such things, plenty of room on the footpath for everyone.

BUt I don't want something that sucks the life out of my middle. I just want a pair of tights that stay up.

I've taken to wearing my undies over the top of my tights now and that can't be healthy. 😐

Ahh...so it's not just me! I bought the same exact size, model, and colour of Nike sneakers as my old pair and they didn't fit right. It fit as though my foot got fatter and at first I thought that's what happened. I always keep the previous pair for doing dirty jobs, so I compaired the labels. The smaller ones were made in Indonesia, and yes...the materials were less all the way around.

Surprisingly I think the first pair were made in China.

Cosmo - I don't mind the country hicks walking around. 😉 They have an excuse. It's the everyday office workers..

In the old days in Sydney there used to be a line in the middle of the footpath with arrows telling you which way to walk. I want that back!

Jimmeh you just cant buy any thing any more with out trying it on.

Some times you just don't feel like trying stuff on, but every time I have grabbed some thing off the rack it never fits.
