I just posted a reply to a question in the Answer Centre - Buying that was posted on 23.02.2021 - this question has now moved to the top of the Answer Centre in the new boards format (hope it is not just a Friday glitch)

Try this:
1. Select the online image and right click "copy image"
2. Click the "Insert Photos" option (at top)
3. Left click inside the grey box
4. Press "ctrl and v" (paste) on keyboard
5. Click "Done" at bottom right
6. Bob's your uncle, I hope.
However, if you make a boo boo, you must "Cancel" the post and try again in a new "Reply". Trying again in the same reply will cause flooding.
That's how I posted the below image after I was unable to copy/paste the usual way.
awesome NFS.................
now if you wouldn't mind fixing the page scrolling issue that would be lovely

Problem remains.
The 2 pics I posted - while the advice was good - were gifs.
They didn't arrive on the boards as gifs

Okay, give me a moment while I think about it and I'll get back to you. Don't hold your breath though. 🤔 😀

🙄Testing
It has to do with the size of the image. This gif was only 400 x 400 pixels.
I did try a larger image and it would not go up as a gif.
I hope this will be some help to you.
Kind Regards

🙂Hello
I have just found the image you put up before and there are 3 sizes of that image on the web
640 x 320 pixels
500 x 281 "
and the third was
498 x 278 pixels
Even though the first number of the image was higher than 400 pixels the 278 pixels was a lot smaller than 400 pixels.
I hope this makes sense to you.
Please see the smaller image gif below
I hope this helps you.

Monty, thanks for the work put in, but I was following the instructions for loading a pic simply by doing a C & P of the image from the net.
I see by hovering over your pics that you have saved them to your hard drive.
This is something I'm hoping to avoid - don't need any more carp on the hard drive.
I used to do a simple C & P and am hoping I can do the same thing with the new forums.
I'll keep trying to post pics without the need to save.
