Hope you are clear of the fires Hawk, and thanks for the link.

Prayers that there will be no fatalities from any of the fires. Property can be replaced, lives can't.

thanks Deb it was only my PH that I took it with, it was a lot bigger and dramatic in real life.

Katty we should be safe here as the ground is flat and open unlike where the fires are burning.

It is a bueatiful area of our hills that are burning and its where I often ride.

There were reports early this morning hat five houses had been lost and have heard a number have been lost today, and one person reported missing

and I have my hoses laid out and ready along with some buckets, not expecting to have to use them but easier to have it ready as things can change very quickly

here is a video I took back in Sept 2013 of the actual area that is burning, you can see how beautiful it is and why so many visit the area

Only got to about 6 minutes.  (You didn't stop at the Big Rocking Horse?Smiley Very Happy)

Beautiful countryside, Hawk.

It appears very similar to a popular riders' route on the Mid North Coast of NSW, on the Buckets Way through Stroud, Gloucester and back onto the Pacific Highway at Nabiac where there is a motorcycle enthusiasts museum.

Best wishes to those affected by the fires.

Beautiful & thank you for sharing with us.  I've only ever ridden a dirt bike (not too successfully I might add - over a big dirt jump & the bike & I parted company !), I now feel like I've been for a ride Smiley Happy

Good luck, hope you don't need the hoses & buckets

Happens every year, major bushfires down south and soaking rain up here.

Such a vast country, wish there was a way to work it out better.
