Thoughts on Maddie McCann

I just read this and tend to agree with some of the points Katie Hopkins has raised.

Would never leave my child and go out to dinner, to do it in a foreign country is just not something I could imagine doing.

How is it different? All those children were taken from their bedsduring the night just as Madeleine was. The abductors managed to do it even though there were family in the same house at the time.

I think some people need to believe that the McCanns are bad parents, because if this could happen to normal ordinary parents then it could happen to them. 

What is it with people that every time something like that happen they attack like pack of hyenas.  As if the tragedy was not enough for McCanns, Lindy etc..

That does not mean it would still have happened if their parents weren't careless as they were in this situation, they were careless, that is a fact. My son almost drowned once, if he had drowned I would be to blame for turning my back and applying aerogard. This situation was not one of necessity, they went for a meal didn't they?

We are all victims of circumstance in our lives, the what ifs etc. Does not change the circumstance.

For some reason some people like to put the boot in when some one is down.

Perhaps they can make it seem ok by saying I would never do that, look at those people I am better then them.

We are far from being perfect, we all make stupid mistakes.

The whole problem with the Maddie case is the police and every one else just wanted to blame the parents and did nothing about finding out what happened to Maddie till it was to late.

There are people now waiting, polishing up their boots for the next tragedy.

They have received a tremendous amount of sympathy. A lot more than the average parents whose children have gone missing.

Do you not want them to have any sympathy at all, do we have to share sympathy evenly.

It is the papers that built it all up and the stupid book the Cop wrote, surely you cant blame the parents for that.

Do we say ok that is it you have had your share of sympathy now on to the next tragedy.

We all raise our kids our own way , if they did not have anything to do with the disappearance then they are victims and deserve support not condemnation. Kids can go missing within sight of their parents  , it's the criminals that deserve our condemnation
