That is the issue really isn't it?
Okay, have no idea what that means either.
You only want people who agree with you to post here?

I don't know which members you refer to in your OP
LOL, I am sure they know who they are.
Once upon a time, I was involved in every political discussion. I no longer do that because the current style of political discussions is not what it used to be. I'm not sure exactly why that is but I know it's changed. There seems to be more hostility for some reason. Majority of the threads do not even seem like they are invitations to a debate. I can understand someone wanting to express their disappointment, even wishing it could be different.
In any case, if there are lot of political topics that means that many people are interested in that.
None of those are as popular as this one

Is that an example of posting to the thread topic and never the poster? Lol!Can you stop personally attacking and start posting about the topic. Please?
Nev, the OP is a personal attack on political posters

“Hello, everyone. This thread is getting a little off-topic and interpersonal
Could we please proceed in a more cvil manner.
Thanks!”

I read the opening post as it is in black and white. If that is supposed to be a wish/hope (one posters interpretation of it) then someone needs to learn more effective communication skills.
The shoe is on the other foot... refers to the LNP is now in Govt, not the Labor Party. The deluge of political threads before the election were initiated by LNP supporters...mostly C&P unattributed blog articles, many personal attacks on the PM of the time and other posters.
Now TA is in the spotlight.. it is not a coincidence I don't think, that LNP supporters are ordering/requesting that political threads cease (in effect no criticism of TA allowed) for 3 years (!).
Waits for the non-fans of political threads to start lots of new general threads now.

The fact that you posted telling others to stop what you consider to be personal attacks had me puzzled .

I don't agree with you Iza. It is frustration about there only seeming to be political threads on the boards these days, as opposed to years prior. Some people come to chill, take some time out from the real world, not to see threads about political fights.

excuse me underbat, I post political posts
The opening post telling me to stop IS interpersonal
