The latest arrival of two vessels carrying 157 people takes the total number of illegal boats that have arrived on Labor’s watch past 700.
Over 42,000 people have arrived on 701 boats since the Rudd-Gillard Government dismantled the Howard Government’s border protection regime.
Labor’s decision to dismantle the Howard Government’s policies has put our country’s security at risk.
It has cost hundreds of lives lost at sea and resulted in thousands of people entering our communities without rigorous security checks.
Every illegal boat arrival cost Australians $12.8 million (on average) – and that’s money which could otherwise go to fund hospitals, roads and help repay debt.
It has seen border protection cost blowouts of more than $10 billion for a system that does not work – that’s money which could otherwise fund hospitals, roads and help repay debt.
Labor’s mismanagement has also included the detention of a convicted jihadist terrorist in low security family accommodation at Inverbrackie in South Australia.
This jihadist was a member of the terrorist organisation Egyptian Islamic Jihad, which merged with al Qaeda in 2001, many years before his arrival by boat.
With an average of 100 people now arriving every day, Australia cannot afford three more years of Labor failure.

What leads you to believe that I am not 😉

You poeople keep harping on about Abbott and asking me what policies he has to deal with border protection, well I suggest you ask Abbott.
Can't remember now who I did or didn't address this question to first, but I was waiting for the OP to answer my question. If it is good enough to bag out Labor's policy on boat arrivals then I would think that person would be able to tell us what/how TA is going to do it better.
No point asking TA as he doesn't know either apparently.:^O

Your logic is flawed. Very often people level just critisism of an action or non action without offering a solution, I dare say you yourself have done it on a few occasions.

Your reply is flawed.
It is not too hard a question... how is TA going to stop the boats.... can he/will he do any better than the present Govt?

Surely Liberal supporters would know the answer to that?

I see no one has answered the question about taking up the governments offer of housing a refugee, all talk and no action big mouths as usual.

No one has offered a reply as to how they would handle a house invadrer who demanded food ,shelter, entertainment welfare and cash either.
I aint holding my breath for that answer 🙂
By the way it is deemed by some that border invasion and house invation are not similar

I would call 000 if there was a home invader. It has nothing to do with refugees seeking safety, in fact quite the opposite. Strange curriculum in bunker schools.
