At least a recorded message from Tony Abbot from a private number, telling me who my local member to vote for was.
Is that allowed in the 3 day lead up to the election?

Hi Iza, I didn't get anything about who my local member is, but I do know her anyway & I've had a few conversations with her & her office over the past few weeks.
Rudd mainly talked about his policies and there was a ph. no. at the end inviting me to discuss anything further, I wasn't expecting the ph. no. so i didn't write it down.
on twitter this morning I've seen an add for the LNP & an add for the greens. Social media makes the advertising blackout a whole new ball game

Labor have made over a million unsolicited calls. Here's a good article: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/opinion/tony-abbott-is-the-right-man-with-the-right-experience/stor... So glad the Libs will be redirecting some of the billions we used to send overseas to some of these corrupt countries back into our own country. Labor really lost the plot there.
How suprising it's in the Herald Sun? What did Andrew Abbott Bolt have to say? Same as every other day that he rubbishes the ALP Rudd, before that Gillard? wouldn't wipe my u know what with that paper!

I don't answer private number calls anymore................ if it is good enough for someone to have my number, it is good enough for me to know theirs................
My daughter and sil received the call from Mr Abbott last evening. 6.15pm, whilst getting 2 small children fed. I think he was hung up on.

did abbrot explain the $5.billion somethin' he's robbed out of the the foreign aid purse.
Actually it is 4.5Billion and I think it is a fantastic idea, when we are wealthy enough and the government can afford to look after all our own homeless, desperate souls and the economy has grown well enough to support foreign aid we should then give.
I believe in the old adage "charity begins at home"
