So Mr Abbott is now going to be holding VIRTUAL forums. He can speak to folks via phone hook up, avoid being anywhere near them and also avoid scrutiny from Main stream Media, and other voters around the nation.

What a sneaky underhanded way to win votes without being held accountable for his responses to questions asked of him. Whilst he doesn't have to look someone in the eye with his response.

The Liberal Party is one step closer to adopting the same style of campaigning as the Republican Party in the U.S.A.

And this is a problem for Labor voters is it?

I take its a problem for you and labor voters (the few that are left) because Labor didnt do this yet they said they were going to base their campaigning on the Republican Party style in the U.S.A.

Yoda let me remind you of this ๐Ÿ™‚

September 14 is but a few months away and the wipe out of Labor will not be pretty.

Its NOW $1.03 to the LNP and $11.00 to labor to win..... Great odds there for you true believers.

Have a wonderful day Yoda and try not to worry to much about the pending apocalyptic destruction  of the labor party on or before September 14th

I couldn't stand listening to that ranting shock jock, I'll have to find another way to get on the list.

Here's Alan... He's not happy because tones hasn't worked out he must bow & scrape. But it all turns out ok in the end, with tones firmly lodged in Alan's pocket.

Tony Abbott phones 8,000 voters

Liberal leader holds virtual forum for Sydney seat โ€“ from a party office in Canberra โ€“ with people gathered via robo-poll. Last Thursday night.

One of the issues polled was electricity prices. During the forum, the moderator, a former television journalist, John Gatfield, asked: โ€œWe would like to know whether you are concerned, you the people of Lindsay are concerned, about rising electricity prices. Now if you are, and you want to answer yes you press one on your phone. If you are not concerned about rising electricity prices then you press two. So, you can press one or two now.โ€

Um.... Isn't electricity pricing a STATE issue. And isn't the N.S.W. government a Liberal government.

So I assume Mr Abbott was being deliberately deceptive by allowing the question about electricity cost to be asked. He is insinuating by asking that question that it is the fault of the federal government that they are to blame for electricity prices.

That's all he is good at it seems. Blurring the lines and getting people worked up over state issues to blame on the feds. Similar to the way they're trying to blame the government today for Telstra's asbestos after Telstra claimed ownership of problem.
