This man makes us the laughing stock of the world far too often.
Canadia?
Really?
It's Canada Mr Abbott.
Even though you corrected yourself you still stuffed up.

sigh.
nah...don't bother thinking nice thoughts. He'd just said Canadian in the previous sentence, hence the slip.
snigger and snort away.
so who told you that, abbott or credlin
ah..neither. I watched the video 🙂
mmm....back to sniggering and snorting then, disappointed, thought you must have had a direct line to one of them, was going to ask if you could find out what abbott would be wearing when he makes his next gaffe....sigh.

and you lot are all so brilliant at public speaking?
Seems to me he was going to say Canadians, then changed it to Canada. Either would have fitted. Watching the news tonight and the newsreader made two slip ups. No-one is splashing that all over the news.
What disappoints me with our Prime Ministers is, they aren't a particularly handsome bunch. Other countries must think Australia is full of Victors (FastForward, Moscow Tonight)

no but we don't get half a million a year and plenty of perks, 24 hour gold plated workers comp, a beauty pension and super we could only dream about, nor are we travelling about representing Australia.

Those things don't automatically make you perfect at public speaking.

no but he is the prime minister, we pay him to represent us, if he can't do it, he shouldn't have applied for the job.

Agreed, you could give me 10 million dollars and I'd still stutter and stumble if I had to talk in front of a crowd, even a small one.
