Yeah at least Kevin achieved some fairly monumentous achievements there Karen as you've listed, all Tony Abbott has achieved is um nothing zip nadda lol.

tony is promoting tourism by portraying Australia as a country full of short-witted hillbillies. he is the best we have got. our prime minister. if he is like THAT what is the rest of the population like?
it promotes a picturesque vision of Australia to the tourists while it's "open for business/exploitation" which is good advertising for the business people.
