A reminder of the debt that Australia has, while Labor can bury their heads and deny it exists the fact remains we have a huge problem with debt and sooner than later the chips will fall, no business, no state and no country can keep operating in the red, eventually those we own the money to will own us. Who will own us?
The state of Qld has debt of $80 billion dollars, Labor are saying they don’t think it’s that bad, Bill Shorten on Australia’s debt, there is no debt crisis, there is a crisis and we are in this situation because of Labor, no one else and the bottom line is Labor can’t fix this problem, their speciality is creating debt not fixing debt.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Because the ALP want to get square and see Mr Abbott fail. Never mind about the mess the Australian economy is in.

no, it's because of bad policies, arrogance, not listening etc etc,

we are going backwards, this govt could very well be leading us into a reccession. Interest rates at an all time low does not mean that the economy is functioning well
Back to when everyone had a job, you mean?
When Australia had a thriving manufacturing and agricultural industry?
When profits from resources that came out the ground were funnelled back into Australian infrastructure and not into foreign hands?
Australia is not going anywhere at the moment, certainly not forward, thanks to Bill Shorten blocking every single reform Mr Abbott puts on the table.

and thank god for the senate or our way of life would really be under threat. I'm talking about the way of life my ancestors fought for and the country they built based on fairness and good values

Right wing opinion piece crowing how new imported cars cost $1000 less, as if that would be important to a great number of Australians..especially those who lost their jobs in car industry in Australia recently and those who can't afford new cars - those people are voters.
"
I didn't miss the point. You said, Low Income who can't afford a new car. I said why do they need a new one ?
So what if they lost there jobs, we can't keep over subsidising manufacturing just to keep people employed.
The Markets change, industries come and go, that's life. They had their run at it, it is now another countries turn.

It's not the ALP at all.
How are the ALP getting the Lib back benchers and seat warmers to do their dirty work for them?
Who voted the Libs out in Vic and Qld?
Who in the ALP asked the CLP to play dump the leader in the middle of the night then talked the existing leader into refusing to go?
Who in the ALP managed to instruct Newman to announce a snap election and then rig the votes so he lost his seat?
The Australian economy was not in a mess and did not need rescuing by the born to rulers who have since doubled the deficit and cut the revenue stream.

Well, they aren't giving Abbott a fair go !
A person who has never been one to give others a fair go should not then demand a fair go himself.
The truth is abbott has received more of a fair go from most of the msm than anyone. They aided in his trashing of the previous govt and refused to hold him to account for as long as they possibly could. Too many still do.

Most sensible ALP voters want him to stay till the next election, there is no getting square with a leadership change before then.
