A reminder of the debt that Australia has, while Labor can bury their heads and deny it exists the fact remains we have a huge problem with debt and sooner than later the chips will fall, no business, no state and no country can keep operating in the red, eventually those we own the money to will own us. Who will own us?
The state of Qld has debt of $80 billion dollars, Labor are saying they don’t think it’s that bad, Bill Shorten on Australia’s debt, there is no debt crisis, there is a crisis and we are in this situation because of Labor, no one else and the bottom line is Labor can’t fix this problem, their speciality is creating debt not fixing debt.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Bit flakey that Bolt guy.
Andrew Bolt attacks Tony Abbott over 'pathetically stupid' Prince Philip knighthood
Tony Abbott continues to take friendly fire over the Prince Philip knighthood, with conservative commentator Andrew Bolt declaring the decision "pathetically stupid" and potentially fatal for the Prime Minister's leadership.
Bolt's blistering intervention follows a plea by media baron Rupert Murdoch for Mr Abbott to sack his top aide Peta Credlin, who has been criticised internally for being too controlling.
Conservative commentator Andrew Bolt has warned Prime Minister Tony Abbott's leadership is in peril.
Speaking on Sydney radio station 2GB on Wednesday night, Bolt said the decision to honour Prince Philip on Australia Day was "friendless" and one that made Mr Abbott's own allies look stupid if they tried to defend it.
"This is just such a pathetically stupid ... gosh, I didn't mean to be that strong because I actually like Tony Abbott very much. But this is just such a very, very, very stupid decision, so damaging that it could be fatal," Bolt said.
"I thought it was verging on fatal already but this is too much.
"This is a friendless decision, where his friends would feel stupid defending it.
"I defy anyone to put to me a case that says Prince Philip should be made a knight of Australia above all the other choices that would [have been] in front of Tony Abbott when he went to sit down behind his desk. It is just inconceivable."
Bolt said the irrational nature of the decision means voters would now feel they have "no idea what Tony Abbott might do next".
"For a lot of voters, that is, and indeed should be, rather scary."
Bolt joins a string of conservative commentators who have criticised Mr Abbott's decision this week.

You left out a few things........................... all lawyers do pro bono work, perhaps Gillard didn't want accolades for community work and didn't advertise them?
Mr Abbott has an illegitimate child (he didn't pay maintainance for?)........... Gillard none.
Gillard didn't support a priest who was accused (convicted?) of molesting children................. good thing she is an atheist some would say.

Perhaps doesn't make it so...
Mr Abbott has an illegitimate child (he didn't pay maintainance for?)........... Gillard none.
Mr Abbott has no illegitimate child. Get your facts right.
Gillard didn't support a priest who was accused (convicted?) of molesting children................. good thing she is an atheist some would say.
Instead she invited a convicted fraudster and known sexual predator to become Speaker of the House.

No, Tony Abbott does not have an illegitmate child. He thought he did, from a relationship when he was a teenager, announced it publicly but DNA testing proved he was not the father.
None of the stuff in that table has any bearing on Tony Abbott's competency or as it turned out incompetency as a PM.
What is the source of that table (Abbott/Gillard) please?? Are all posters going to start posting unconfirmed info from Facebook in political threads now??

Yeah, good Catholic boy, intends to be a priest, has relations with g/f as a teen... something doesn't add up there.
