A reminder of the debt that Australia has, while Labor can bury their heads and deny it exists the fact remains we have a huge problem with debt and sooner than later the chips will fall, no business, no state and no country can keep operating in the red, eventually those we own the money to will own us. Who will own us?
The state of Qld has debt of $80 billion dollars, Labor are saying they don’t think it’s that bad, Bill Shorten on Australia’s debt, there is no debt crisis, there is a crisis and we are in this situation because of Labor, no one else and the bottom line is Labor can’t fix this problem, their speciality is creating debt not fixing debt.

Poor old Toxic Tony is in a loss/loss situation: If he wins the polls will continue to go against him, if he wins he's just showing the disunity in the Govenrment ranks
If the spill votes relies on Toxic's vote to decide he will (unlike John Gorton) vote for him self
Nah. he's the kind of "go on, make my day" kind of guy.
I think he is too. None of this but the people still love me stuff, if he gets shafted we won't hear from him again.Shame Rudd didn't do that. Julia might have still been in.

Really? I don't want to vote again. I hate voting, it's time out of my day. But I guess if your party isn't in then you'd want it.

Today, Senator Edwards from SA told Abbott that his support regarding his leadership would depend on SA being able to make a bid on the building of the submarines which had been previously denied. Abbot has now agreed that SA can once again bid for the contract.
However, in July he had stated to Japan that they were the preferred builder.
But....... in January, German newspapers announced that during the G20, Angela Merkel had been assured that they are the front runners to get the contract to build the submarines.
Up until today, SA hadn't been in the running since early last year but now that the Senator's vote is needed, whamo.
So Japan has been told they are the front runner. Germany has been told they are the front runner. And now SA is back.
You couldn't make this stuff up.

Yeah, your other ID posted that earlier. All politicians are people. All have unflattering pics out there. Very grubby.
