A reminder of the debt that Australia has, while Labor can bury their heads and deny it exists the fact remains we have a huge problem with debt and sooner than later the chips will fall, no business, no state and no country can keep operating in the red, eventually those we own the money to will own us. Who will own us?
The state of Qld has debt of $80 billion dollars, Labor are saying they don’t think it’s that bad, Bill Shorten on Australia’s debt, there is no debt crisis, there is a crisis and we are in this situation because of Labor, no one else and the bottom line is Labor can’t fix this problem, their speciality is creating debt not fixing debt.

Why do the ABC, Fairfax and the left want Malcolm Turnbull as Prime Minister?

perhaps the public like Turnbull better as a person??

Well you see now, Deb, right there is the difference between an intellectual voter and an emotional voter.

You don't vote someone into a leadership role, because they're likeable, or a woman, or of pariticular creed or colour. You vote them in because you think they can do the job.

Neither Mr Turnbull, nor Mr Shorten have so far given any indication of ability in that regard. Neither one has put forward any suggestion, for instance, on how to resolve our debt crisis.

Or how to regulate the wholesale privatising of our national assets or how to stop the rampaging Mine companies from gobbling up our food producing land.

The only way the could get voted in is if the downfall of Mr Abbott has left a vacancy. And they're working on it.

They want him because they know that Malcolm will put Labor back in power, Malcolm will never win an election for the coalition government, the left will crucify him way before an election and the media are in charge of our country once again.

I think it's better if abbott leads the LNP into the next election  Smiley Very Happy

And so say all of us.

Why would Turnbull or Shorten put forward economic suggestions? It is not currently their role to do that

I have to agree with you here as will every Labor supporter in Australia. Labor is a shoo-in if he stays leader, but if Turnbull leads they may have actually campaign

If Mr Turnbull get's in it will definitely be a shoo-in. So why would the LNP bother with changing leaders? Might as well stick with Mr Abbott and see where the ride ends up.

Do we want to go the same way as Labor? and destroy the party through hate and division?

The reason the PM and the party is having such a hard time is Labor have blocked just about everything in the senate., they are wreckers all they want is to regain power.

Every day we see Shirten out there denying that we need fiscal reform, economic reform, IR reform and many other reforms so please!! after the mess they created? after they destroyed themselves?.

Every day we see dishonest union campaigns run.

and..... Turnbull is Abbotts Rudd, the dingo skirting the camp but not ready to show himself.

When did politics attract such people as Rudd and Turnbull? self serving entitled ego maniacs.

Coalition voters split over whether Tony Abbott should be dumped – poll

Essential poll finds 48% of Coalition voters believe Abbott should stay on as leader until the next election, due in 2016

Coalition voters are split over whether Tony Abbott should be dumped as party leader.

The latest Essential poll, published on Tuesday afternoon, found 48% of Coalition voters believed Abbott should stay on as leader until the next election, due in 2016.

But 34% said he should be given six months to improve and 14% said he should be removed immediately.

Of all voters, 39% said he should be replaced as soon as possible, while 22% gave him six months and 28% said he should be kept on until the election.

Asked whether Abbott would still be leader at the election, 61% said no, including 40% of Coalition voters.

The poll’s two-party result put Labor in the lead 54% to 46%. However, the Liberal party was seen as significantly more trustworthy to handle national security, the economy, interest rates and asylum seekers.

Labor was seen as better in the areas of education, health, industrial relations and jobs.

As debate continues over where Australia’s next-generation submarine fleet will be built, the most favoured position among voters (37%) was building them in Australia, even if that meant they cost more than if they were built overseas.

thought this might interest you Icy, a poll amongst LNP voters
